  • Loan information you enter into the platform
  • Payment history and transaction records
  • Communications you send us

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the LoanLoop service
  • Process your LoanLoop subscription payments through Stripe (Stripe is used for plan billing only — it does not process loan payments between lenders and borrowers)
  • Send payment notifications and reminders
  • Generate year-end income summaries
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Stripe (subscription billing for LoanLoop plans only — not loan payments between lenders and borrowers)
  • Supabase (secure data storage)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • As required by law

4. Information Visibility

Within the LoanLoop platform, contact information is shared only between the parties on a given loan:

  • Lenders can see their borrowers' names, email addresses, and phone numbers (if provided)
  • Borrowers can see their lender's name, email address, and phone number (if provided)
  • Co-borrowers on the same loan can see each other's names and email addresses, but not phone numbers
  • No information is visible to other LoanLoop users outside your loans

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and Row Level Security to protect your data. Each user can only access their own data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting hello@loanloop.app

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay after confirming the breach — our goal is within 72 hours where feasible — and in all cases within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Users Outside the United States

LoanLoop is intended for use only within the United States, and our Terms of Service require users to be located in the United States. We do not market to or target users in the European Union or any other jurisdiction outside the United States. If you nonetheless access LoanLoop from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative, and you may contact hello@loanloop.app to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. We will honor such requests as required by applicable law.

10. CCPA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any sale of your information. We do not sell personal information. Contact hello@loanloop.app to exercise these rights.

11. Children's Privacy

LoanLoop is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
