LoanLoop is a software tool for organizing private loans. We are not a financial institution, lender, or legal advisor. Please consult qualified professionals before making financial or legal decisions.
Not a Financial Institution
LoanLoop is a software tool, not a bank, lender, mortgage broker, or financial institution. LoanLoop does not originate loans, hold funds, or provide financial services as defined by federal or state law.
Not Financial or Legal Advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The tools provided, including amortization calculators, payment schedules, and income summaries, are for informational and organizational purposes only.
Usury Laws
Lenders are solely responsible for ensuring their interest rates and loan terms comply with all applicable federal and state usury laws. LoanLoop does not verify or enforce compliance with usury laws.
Dodd-Frank Notice
Lenders engaged in seller financing should be aware of applicable provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Lenders who complete more than a limited number of seller-financed transactions per year may be subject to additional regulatory requirements. Please consult a licensed attorney for guidance specific to your situation.
Prepayment Penalties
LoanLoop allows lenders to configure prepayment penalties as a record-keeping feature. LoanLoop does not validate, endorse, or enforce prepayment penalty terms. Prepayment penalties are subject to state and federal restrictions, including limitations under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Lenders are solely responsible for ensuring their loan terms, including any prepayment penalties, comply with all applicable laws. Borrowers should review all loan terms carefully and consult a licensed attorney before accepting any loan. LoanLoop is not liable for any disputes, penalties, or legal consequences arising from prepayment penalty terms configured by users.
Tax Information
LoanLoop does not issue IRS tax forms, including 1099-INT or any other official tax documents. Year-end income summaries provided by LoanLoop are for informational and organizational purposes only and are not a substitute for official tax forms. These summaries are designed to help you organize your income information for your tax professional. Users are solely responsible for reporting all income, including interest income, to the appropriate tax authorities. Please consult a qualified tax professional regarding your specific tax obligations.
Installment Sale Calculations
LoanLoop's installment sale calculations are based on IRS Publication 537 and IRC Section 453 using the gross profit ratio method. These calculations do not account for depreciation recapture, mortgage assumptions, selling expenses, or other adjustments. Down payments received at closing are included in year-of-sale installment income calculations. LoanLoop does not issue Form 6252 or any other official IRS tax forms related to installment sales. Please consult a qualified tax professional regarding your installment sale reporting obligations.
ACH Payment Authorization
By setting up autopay through LoanLoop, borrowers explicitly authorize recurring ACH debits from their bank account. This authorization remains in effect until cancelled by the borrower with reasonable notice.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy in all calculations, LoanLoop makes no guarantee that amortization schedules, payment calculations, or other figures are error-free. Always verify important financial calculations independently.
Third Party Services
LoanLoop uses Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for data storage. We are not responsible for the actions, errors, or omissions of third-party service providers.
